Data Management
The debt review process requires the credit provider, debt counsellor, PDA’s and consumer exchange a high volume of documents and data. We help manage this complex and admin-intensive process effectively – while ensuring our clients comply with the requirements of the National Credit Act (NCA).
Workflow Solutions
We have developed unique modules to assist with each phase of the Debt Review process. This allows each document to be efficiently processed and stored.
Customer Services
We offer 24/7 support to our clients. The customer profile feature in DREX allows both the debt review administrator and call centre teams to access and provide information at the click of a button.
Compliance Features
Debt review requires compliance with the National Credit Act as well as the National Credit Regulator (NCR) guidelines. The DREX compliance module incorporates these requirements to ensure compliance and identifies areas of non-compliance.
Credit Control
This solution assists with the following:

  • Scheduled monthly debt review statements are sent to consumers.
  • Full payment plan cycle monitoring reports.
  • Part-payer and non-payer reminders.
  • Customer statements that cater for and show multiple interest rate changes.
Receipting
The DREX receipting system caters for multiple trust account bank statement imports and is integrated with Payment Distribution Agencies. Built-in intelligence prevents duplicate receipts while offering immediate receipt allocation. Automated paid-up letters are sent on finality of matters.
Reporting
DREX provides clients with a library of reports. These reports contain insights into the performance of their departments and the health of their debt review book.

Focus is placed on the recovery of debt and a multitude of payment options are provided to best suit the industry need.

I see that Consumer Friend uses the DREX system. How do I sign-up to use the DREX consumer portal?
You can sign up to use DREX by clicking on the following link https://drex.consumerfriend.co.za/drex/Account/SelfSignUp and completing the online access form.
What are the benefits of using the portal?
The DREX consumer portal will allow you to access your accounts that are under debt review. You will be able to access the following:
